Better habits
Nothing beats a sip of warm water in the morning.
The warm fluid relaxes the body as it flows into a dry throat.
I drink it mostly for the feeling.
My day might start with a lot of pressure and lows, but that changes as soon as my lips kiss the metallic flask as I sip away.
To the drunkard, his bottle. To me, the warm water-filled metallic flask.
It is a healthy habit to keep the doctor away. Better than an apple — You know the idiom.
Habits make us or break us, like there is no James Bond character without the phrase “shaken, not stirred”. Imagine watching a James Bond movie without this catchphrase. Or “My name is Bond, James Bond”.
The best habits are the ones that have positive impacts on our psychology. Such as the haka by the New Zealand rugby team, the leap by Christiano Ronaldo as soon as he enters the football (soccer) pitch, words of affirmation when we start our day or a prayer of gratitude to God.
