Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Beauty is in the eyes of those who can see far.

The short-sighted must have a terrible life experience, as they miss the beautiful things in the distance.

The rarest of beauties are not within. They are like gold and diamonds, they only reveal themselves after a punishing toil. You cannot find them where many have settled. You must seek them in the most isolated places, travelling deserted pathways — a lonely voyage.

For most of us with poor sights, we find beauty through others. An informal hangout with a friend led to the discovery of a beautiful experience. It was an experience that was delivered right at my doorstep. A green 1-litre bottle of fine whiskey. Its subtle flavoured, smooth and gentle taste washes onto the tongue and into the throat gracefully in between sips. A refreshing renewed taste of whiskey. An experience worth the lonely distant voyage to undertake.
